Catedra
The Soermar Company Chair, was created in 2014, is dedicated to the technological fields of shipbuilding and the exploitation of ocean resources.
Among the main activities carried out by the Chair we highlight:

Development of conferences and seminars by specialists from the naval, maritime and ocean sectors.

Support for the preparation of proposals and the implementation of R & D & i projects in technologies for application to shipbuilding, other maritime sectors and the use of ocean resources.

Collaboration in the practical training of ETSIN students

Provision of grants to facilitate the completion of doctoral theses within the UPM
The monitoring committee of the Chair sets the actions to be carried out annually.
